The curriculum typically focuses on providing a strong foundation in “Fard Ayn” (obligatory knowledge) while also offering advanced pathways for those seeking to become scholars.

The advanced courses at Al-Mustafa generally follow a structured progression to ensure students don't just memorize facts, but actually understand the "why" behind the law.
Classes are regularly held to teach the rules of Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and foundational Arabic grammar to help students engage directly with sacred texts.
The mosque provides sessions on practical Islamic law, covering daily essentials like purification (Taharah), prayer (Salah), and fasting (Sawm).
Before diving into complex legal rulings, students often study the basics of logic. This helps in understanding how classical scholars derived rulings and how to apply critical thinking to modern ethical dilemmas.
One of the more technical aspects of Sharia, these sessions teach the specific calculations for distributing estates, a vital service for the local Redhill and Reigate community.
Education here isn't just academic. There is a heavy emphasis on Tazkiyah (purification of the heart), ensuring that as a student's knowledge increases, their character (Akhlaq) improves alongside it.
